Waasland-Beveren is proud to announce Antoine Gobin as the new CEO of the club. Bolt Football Holdings, the new American ownership group, have chosen the French-American to lead the club, accompanied by current local leadership. Mr. Gobin has had management roles in international football at Major League Soccer in the United States and at FC Girondins de Bordeaux, one of France’s most historic clubs.

Last month, Bolt Football Holdings acquired a majority stake of Waasland-Beveren. The new ownership group is led by experienced American sports investors David Blitzer, Jahm Najafi and Jeff Moorad. The investors have shared their desire to take Beveren to new heights, without losing the identity and local anchoring of the club. With the arrival of the new CEO, the club takes another step forward in this direction.

Gobin, together with current management, will lead the efforts to further professionalize every aspect of the club: “When the ownership team presented this project to me, I immediately knew I had to come onboard. I believe that we at Waasland-Beveren have a great future ahead of us, and I am excited to work with the leadership team here in Beveren to bring stability and improvements to the club.”

Isaac Harrouche, a Director of Bolt Football Holdings and the club, commented: “We are thrilled to have Antoine join the club to bring further expertise and leadership to the club in partnership with the existing team. We believe Antoine’s experience will enhance our goals and, very importantly, allow the club to maintain its local identity and key values.”
